The "Independence" exhibition in Latvia 2018 - what happened to it?

After a tour of three cities in Latvia, it was possible to return the exhibits to Israel at full price. I was looking for a solution that would save the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the expense (all exhibits are prints).

Rabbi Dr. Menachem BarCohen, director of the Ghetto Museum, was enthusiastic about the work of the Shamir brothers and asked us to donate the exhibits to his museum. He planned to build a hall on the subject of "Rebirth."
The Israeli embassy objected and recommended that we transfer the exhibition to the library of the University of Latvia. The director of the library has prepared an impressive program of exhibitions throughout Latvia.
Nothing happened. The principal systematically refrained from responding to my emails. Ambassador Bar-Sadeh returned to Israel.

Today, the rabbi, who heads a community in the Chabad movement, informed me that preparations for the “Rebirth” hall had progressed and it would soon open. Shamir posters, artists of Latvian origin, will not be displayed in it.
